At Su Valley Appaloosas, our motto is simply this:

A diet to suit your horse, not our convenience!

Located on five quiet acres, just ten minutes from downtown Wasilla.

Specializing in recovery and theraputic diets, we have experience with mashes of all types and can handle everything from high caloric, low carbohydrate rations (Pre Cushings, IR, or Cushings) to seniors, to remedial diets after illness and/or injury (with veterinary review).

From "hard keepers to air ferns," we can make it suit.

We typically have on hand very high quality alfalfa, imported grass (timothy and/or orchard grass) and the best local timothy that can be found. We have a variety of concentrates on hand to suit almost any horses' needs, just ask for details. Bimonthly worming and a vitamin mineral supplement are included.

Stalls are 12x12 with attached 70 foot runs. The fences are Horse Guard, and always electrified. Water is carefully monitored daily, and cleaned as needed. Salt/TM block of course, and plenty of shade for hot summer evenings and early morning sun year round. Located on nearly the highest spot on the property, there is excellent drainage and the footing is quite firm when dry. A round pen is typically available during the summer season for your use.

Nearby are miles and miles of trails and roads, for quiet trail rides.
